One of Malaysia's Design Thinking pioneers, Jon has taught the subject for more than 5 years in Malaysia. Handpicked by Stanford d.school and The Hasso Plattner Institute, Jon is a renowned advocate for Design Thinking and believes it can help uplift every Malaysian to make real change.

Marcus KohFOUNDER OF POSITIVE X, TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT INDUSTRY EXPERT
Co-founder of PositiveLinks Asia (www.thepositivelinks.com), a people-focused boutique executive search firm based in Kuala Lumpur. Marcus' 10+ years of experience in entrepreneurship and professional career development in many industries forged a strong passion to bolster Malaysia's workforce with something more. HOW LONG DOES EACH WORKSHOP LAST?
Our 1-Day Design Thinking Workshops typically last 8 hours, with breaks taken in between.
HOW ARE DESIGN THINKING WORKSHOPS CONDUCTED?
Our Design Thinking Workshops occur in five separate phases: Empathise, Define and Share, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. You can expect:
1. Immersive Learning
Each phase of our workshop to introduce a deep and meaningful look at key elements of Design Thinking. Look beyond the sticky notes and slides, and experience Design Thinking in its full scale from communicating with users up to creating a full product prototype.
2. Experiential Activities
Our workshops are conducted with a focus on learning by doing. You will experience a variety of hands-on activities throughout the workshop to deepen your understanding of Design Thinking, and apply it in real-time.
3. Work In Teams
The best benefits of Design Thinking occurs in teams working together. You will meet and work with new peers from several different industries and backgrounds who will bring their own experiences to the table. At the end of your journey, you will have made strong, new connections, and friends from new places.
4. Real Life Design Challenges
A key part of Design Thinking involves getting to know your users face-to-face. Among our hands-on activities, you will be expected to step out of your comfort zone, speak with complete strangers to gather feedback and information, conduct role-playing sessions between one another, and design solutions for real-life design challenges taken from your surrounding environment.

WHO WILL BE COACHING OUR WORKSHOP?
We have a team of energetic individuals to assist and facilitate the workshop comprising of our certified Design Thinking Coaches and Positive X staff.
IS THIS WORKSHOP RUN WITH LECTURES AND KEYNOTES? OR WILL THERE BE PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES?
Our Design Thinking Workshops deliver deep, experiential learning via hands-on activities, immersive role-play, and low-resolution product design. Participants are encouraged to move around freely and generously during our workshop in order to facilitate ideas, and to gain a long-lasting and impactful experience.
WILL FOOD BE PROVIDED FOR ME AT THE WORKSHOP?
Our Design Thinking Workshops do not cover any meals for participants but there will be scheduled breaks to allow participants adequate time to purchase meals in nearby places.
Light refreshments will be provided throughout the workshop to keep energy up among participants.

WHAT IF I HAVE SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?
Please inform us of any food allergies or special dietary requirements your child may have two week prior to the workshop for accommodations to be made. However, we will not be responsible for meals as it will not be provided in the workshops themsleves.
WHAT DOES THE FEE COVER?
The payment of RM399 in fees will cover the following:

● Workshop materials used during product design
● Coaching services from our Design Thinking Coaches
The fees do not cover parking fees / tickets at our venue, meals, shopping or personal expenses during the workshop. Participants are advised to bring an adequate amount of allowance for their own use during the workshop.
